The coordination work carried out by Spain Film Commission partners enables audiovisual professionals and companies to optimise their production expenses.

Extremadura Film Commission

The Extremadura Film Commission is a regional office created in 2008 by the Junta de Extremadura within the Extremadura Film Foundation. Since December 2017, it has been part of the Fundación Extremeña de la Cultura.

As the primary objective of the film and culture division of the Extremadura Film Foundation is to promote and develop the audiovisual sector as a strategic area that enhances and links other economic sectors, the functions of the Extremadura Film Commission as a filming office include informing, advising, assisting, and ultimately guiding and accompanying audiovisual professionals and companies wishing to film anywhere in Extremadura. It acts as a liaison and mediator with companies, public administrations, and institutions involved or potentially involved in the filmmaking process to ensure its smooth execution.

Filming in Extremadura is safe, easy, and affordable.
