Description:
Besides the Medieval district, other noteworthy sites in Bocairent (Valencia) are its the parish church of the 16th century, the caves known as Las Covetes dels Moors, the hermitages scattered throughout the municipality, its bullring carved in the rock (the oldest of the Valencian Community), its textile industry and its old mills.

The Iberians were the first settlers of the town, although it was the Arabs who constituted it as such.
The Romans left their mark with constructions such as bridges and roads. Later, in Medieval times, it reached its splendor with its textile factories.
