Spain Passion, the Chinese TV show, is being filmed in different locations of Spanish geography

Since last May, the TV show has been shot in Madrid and Valladolid. In the coming months it will be filmed in Mallorca, Menorca, Cantabria, La Rioja, Bilbao, Barcelona, Malaga, Granada and Seville.

The show is produced by the production company Think and has received the support of the various Film Commissions and Film Offices of the places where it has been filmed.

Spain passion will consist of 8 chapters of 45 minutes each, in which two young girls of Chinese origin travel around Spain's main attractions and destinations, accompanied by a young Spanish boy who represents the Spanish way of understanding and enjoying life. The show will be shot in locations of high tourist interest in the country.

The two young Chinese girls will discover unique places of Spain, its natural and cultural heritage, some important personalities, Spanish gastronomy, and  Spanish traditions. All of these will be shown through their own eyes and their mobile phone.

The shooting began on May 24th in Valladolid, and continued during the month of June in Madrid. Over the next few months, Yhu and Shu, the two young Chinese women, will be traveling around Spain with Rafa, a young Spaniard who loves the Asain culture. From Valladolid and Madrid, the shooting team will continue in September in Mallorca, Menorca, Cantabria, La Rioja, Bilbao, Barcelona, Malaga, Granada and Seville.

The show will be broadcasted on open channels and digital platforms in China and in other Southeast Asian territories.

This road movie shows peple and places in a different and fun way. Through entertainment, we will establish an emotional connection with the viewer. To complete its diffusion, it will be broadcasted in channels and digital platforms with the highest audiences in China, and it will be shared through an important  strategy in social networks and other digital platforms both in Spain and in China: Weibo, Wechat, Douyin, Meipai, Instagram, Twitter...

“Spain Passion” aims to reach a segment of Asian urban population in their 20s and 30s, with an important economical power, whose main interest is  discovering unique places, their natural and cultural heritage, gastronomy and traditions. The show does all of that while respecting and understanding the audience's own Chinese culture, in this case through the eyes and phones of two young Chinese women and their Spanish friend who serves as a guide.

The project is produced by THINK, a Spanish production company based in Madrid and Valladolid, with major business connections in China and India. The series has received the support of a good number of Spanish private companies of first international level, such as El Corte Ingles, Grupo NH, and Renault among others, as well as public entities. Spain Passion will visit different places in Spain thanks to the support of the different Film Offices, which are members of the Spain Film Commission (La Rioja Film Commission, Cantabria Film Commission, Mallorca Film Commission, Andalusia Film Commission, Madrid Film Office, Valladolid Film Office , Bilbao Vizcaya Film Commission and Catalunya Film Commission)
