As she annually does, Piluca Querol, director of Andalucía FC, has presented the Activity Report of the AFC and its Ciudades de Cine Network, providing data on the economic and employment impact that surpass previous data and confirm that the filming industry is stable and has a rising trend in Andalusia.

The rising trend during 2017 is confirmed with 1,406 shootings, amounting to a total of 15,368 assisted films since the creation of the Andalucía Film Commission in 1998, which involves 490 television programs, 235 commercials, 211 photographic reports, 46 feature films, 87 documentaries and 53 shootings for television series episodes.

These shootings have generated an impact on the Andalusian economy of € 122,544,678 and generated employment for 21,877 professionals.

This Report is available in the activity reports section of the AFC website http://www.andaluciafilm.com/index.php/afc/informes In this link all the Activity Reports published to date can be found.

The data from 2017 shows that the shooting industry in Andalusia has reached an important level of consolidation and stability. In a significant percentage of productions, there has been total or partial intervention of the Andalusian industry in 2017.

The positive trend of the recent years is continued in the first half of 2018 and Andalucía Film Commission is already preparing an important set of initiatives on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the entity to be held in 2018, with titles such as the filming of 'Terminator6', 'Tu hijo' by Miguel Ángel Vivas, series like 'Lontano da te', 'Game of Thrones', 'La Otra Mirada', 'Snatch', 'Living the dream', 'Bounty Hunters' ...

In 2018 Andalusia FC celebrates 20 years of activity, making it the oldest Film Commission in Spain and with a very active presence on the Board of the European Film Commission Network and on the Spain Film Commission.
