12/21/2017

Spain Film Commission has launched its renewed content platform, www.shootinginspain.info, with more features and information.
This new WEBSITE wants to respond to the most frequent questions that international and national producers make to Spain Film Commission, as well as to show its activity in this new stage of expansion of the entity that has  now 16 years of activity and a network of 30 associates in the whole country.

The platform focuses on practical aspects such as fiscal incentives to shoot in Spain, a searching tool for locations, a section that gathers distinctive features to shoot in Spain, contacts of all the associated Film Commissions and Film Offices, as well as a section dedicated to Cinema and Tourism, a historic archive of audiovisual shootings in our country and a news section.

The system of fiscal incentives and support to production has been clearly developed once its use has been consolidated since its implementation promoted by Spain Film Commission.

The different locations available for audiovisual shootings have a leading role in the new website, to which we have added a powerful search engine, useful information for producers, excellent quality images and more precise geolocation.

In the section Shooting in Spain, there are the most powerful reasons to come to shoot to Spain and a new space that collects specific information about various technical, legal and logistic aspects to take into account when planning a shooting in the country.
Cinema and Tourism section has its space within the new web, with the aim of promoting and communicating the initiatives related to Cinematographic Tourism, and the synergies that exist between both industries.
The new platform will have a first stage of settlement and extension of content before the official presentation that will take place within the framework of the European Film Market to be held next February 2018 during Berlinale, the entity is already working on it.

Spain Film Commission and its network of offices work every day with professionals and national audiovisual companies in their productions and collaborate closely with international producers who want to shoot in our country. Recently, three new partners have been incorporated, covering the entire national territory

In addition, it collaborates with entities such as the ICAA, ICEX and TurEspaña to develop a unique country strategy that positions Spain as a destination for international shootings and it can be a motivational key factor in attracting tourism and enhancing the brand image of certain tourist destinations.

With the impetus of this institutional project, the entity continues on the path of strengthening the country's audiovisual industry, providing it with competitiveness and global visibility.

This new content platform has been financed by the Ministry of Culture, Education and Sports through the Cultural Action and Promotion Funds 2017 and with the entity's own resources. Aldor Internet has made the development and PowerHouse Hub has generated the contents in close collaboration with the technical office and partners of Spain Film Commission.
