Parque Natural de las Hoces del Río Duratón

Located to northeast of Segovia (Castile and Leon), downstream from the town of Sepúlveda, the Duratón River runs through a deep canyon, which in some places reaches a depth of more than 100 meters. It has the largest colony of griffon vultures in Europe and has a significant historical and artistic heritage with the Romanesque chapel of San Frutos, caves with carvings of the Bronze Age and the architectural ensemble of Sepulveda.
